False leads and fraud With Home Advisors.

Home Advisors is a company that acts like they have have the customer and contracors best interest but that is all a front. They say they check there contractors out which I am one and they literally do nothing to insure the customers is getting a valid contractor. They gave us false leads fake names and charged our account and when we complained they did nothing. We had a number of fake or unjustified leads which they say they research before they send them out. They have stole thousands of dollars from our account on leads that did not exist. I urge everybody to contact there states attorney generals office on there complaints.

Hit the nail right on the head. Their "leads" are mostly bogus and the few that are somewhat legit are given to multiple contractors, all of whom are billed.

And the Titanic had a better chance of staying afloat than you will trying to get a refund for a bogus lead. Their sales people will promise you the world to get your business, just outright lie to you. Stay as far away from these crooks as possible.

FYI, they used to go by the name Service Magic.

I suspect they changed their name due to horrible reputation. Now they're hoping to hide behind a new identity.
